Akanami

Akanami means 'Red Wave' in japaneese

Backup weapons are affected by dexterity in all aspects except charging

Backup weapons cannot be modded however they posses unique abilities:

Primary

• Charges up a powerful vertical slash, direction of the slash can be manipulated through leaning

Secondary

• Reflect: Reflect incoming projectiles²⁾, area of effect stretches from middle of the thigh to slightly over the head when standing straight
• Drains all Combo Points on blocking a knockdown³⁾, drains points proportional to damage on blocking an attack

Reflected bullets fly towards your crosshair.

Reflecting consumes the aux equal to 25% of the direct damage, can only deflect 50% of pellets⁴⁾

Quick-melee

• Slash: Uncharged horizontal slash, direction of the slash can be manipulated through leaning

Alternative Attack:⁵⁾

• Thrust: Uncharged fencing thrust⁶⁾ with 1.25x headshot multiplier and 1.5x bleed multiplier, +20% defense and damage reductions bypass per combo point, +10% increased damage per combo point⁷⁾, 100% increased damage dealt from behind (backstab)
• Drains 2 Combo Points

Passive

• 1m/s increased movement speed cap
• 25% reduced ground deceleration
• 25% increased movement speed while enemies within 15m
• 25% reduced direct damage received
• Can cut enemy nano-wires causing 2s disable+ and 5s nano-wire cooldown.

Combo ⁸⁾

• For each attack that landed with the weapon equipped the next heavy attack charges 20% faster and quick-melee lunge range increased by 10%
